Software Engineer Advanced

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

• AI/ML model deployment experience across production environments
• Proficiency in Python and core data science libraries
• Data preprocessing, feature engineering, and pipeline building
• Model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and performance optimization
• Solid understanding of classical and modern NLP techniques (e.g., TF-IDF, Word2Vec, LDA, transformers)
• Experience in image processing and computer vision using libraries such as OpenCV, PIL, or TensorFlow/Keras
• Ability to handle both structured and unstructured data (text, images, tabular, etc.)
• Exposure to feedback-integrated learning systems (e.g., active learning, reinforcement learning, human-in-the-loop approaches)
• Strong business problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into AI/ML solutions
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for model deployment and data pipelines
• Version control using Git and collaborative development workflows (e.g., GitHub, GitLab)
• Experience with optimization techniques for improving model efficiency and scalability
