Software Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Embedded Video Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video processing, multimedia frameworks, and embedded Linux development. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing video solutions on embedded platforms, working with cutting-edge technologies and contributing to innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize video processing solutions on embedded Linux platforms.
• Work with multimedia frameworks (Nvidia/Qualcomm) and V4L2 for video capture, encoding, decoding, and display.
• Implement and integrate video codecs (H.264/H.265/VP8/VP9) and related standards.
• Develop and maintain Linux device drivers, particularly for video-related hardware (V4L2).
• Work with video user space hardware abstraction layers like Codec2.0 and OpenMax IL.
• Optimize system performance, including kernel tuning and driver optimization.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues related to video processing and embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Required Skills:

• 3-6 years of experience in the video domain (preferred).
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Solid understanding of multithreading and operating system concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with multimedia frameworks (Nvidia/Qualcomm) and Video4Linux2 (V4L2).
• Knowledge of video user space hardware abstraction layers (Codec2.0, OpenMax IL).
• Proficiency in Linux operating system (kernel, performance).
• Experience with BSP and driver development.
• Knowledge of video specifications (H.264/H.265/VP8/VP9)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
