What You’ll Do
As engineers you are passionate about using software-based approaches to solve data-driven challenges and automate those solutions. You will contribute to setting up enterprise self-service solutions at scale. You need possess excellent collaboration and diplomacy skills. An added advantage would be having experience practicing infrastructure-as-code and DevOps. In addition, possess strong programming knowledge and problem-solving abilities. An ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and passionate about technology as well as drive innovation, quick learner and produce delightful experiences for customers. This person will demonstrate an insatiable curiosity, love to invent and innovate to solve difficult challenges in a fast-paced global environment. If you love solving problems and prefer to build scalable, reliable, and testable software to automate infrastructure management, are an ace troubleshooter, and are a technical geek, then this is the role for you!
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with the Cloud Engineering team and other key stakeholders to develop highly scalable and efficient in-house Self-Service portal to handle provisioning and operations across all the Cloud, On Prem and Network Infrastructure.
- Building and managing the home grown FinOps portal to get the cost insights across all the Cloud, also leveraging AI/ML for cost predictions and anomaly detection.
- Creating back-end functionality to handle data ingestion, indexing, storage, and retrieval processes efficiently.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for development processes.
- Building multiple stable, scalable features that can be successfully deployed to customers in production.
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Ensuring that all code complies with best practices and standards set by the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, and apply them to improve the quality and performance of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, and provide timely resolutions.
What To Bring
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Experience in developing front-end/backend applications and familiarity with common stack
- 1 – 3 years of experience in front-end languages (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript)
- and one of the mentioned frameworks (e.g. React, Next.js, Node.js)
- 1 – 3 years of experience in at least one of the back-end languages (e.g. Python, Node Express)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL concepts and queries
- Good to have an experience working with public cloud infrastructure with Azure/AWS/GCP, including design and implementation.
- Good Knowledge and appreciation of software development lifecycles and methodologies
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of code.
- Proven experience in utilizing DevOps tools, including Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery, GitHub for version control and collaboration, for repository management.
