Software Engineer -SSIS/SSRS

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SSIS & SSRS Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our data team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing data integration (ETL) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and generating insightful reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and reporting, enabling effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Development & Maintenance:
• Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing SSIS packages for performance and reliability.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across multiple sources and destinations.
• Report Development:
• Create, modify, and maintain SSRS reports based on business requirements.
• Design interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
• Optimize report performance and data retrieval efficiency.
• Database Management & Optimization:
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for reporting and ETL processes.
• Ensure proper indexing, query tuning, and database optimization for performance improvement.
• Work with large datasets, ensuring efficient processing and reporting.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting and data processing requirements.
• Provide documentation and support for the deployed SSIS/SSRS solutions.
• Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and resolving discrepancies.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration using SSIS.
• Experience in developing, deploying, and optimizing SSRS reports.
• Proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Performance Tuning).
• Knowledge of database management, normalization, and indexing for performance optimization.

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug ETL packages and reports.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills:
• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
