Your future duties and responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI Automation Engineer.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks with a primary focus on Python and the Robot Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Implementation: Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for UI testing using Python and the Robot Framework. Develop custom libraries and tools to enhance the automation framework. Continuously improve automation frameworks to ensure they are robust and efficient. Identify and resolve issues related to automation scripts and frameworks.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all UI components. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of automated testing, including test results, coverage, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during automated testing.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions. Provide technical guidance and best practices for UI automation. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in Python programming language.
- Extensive experience with the Robot Framework for automation.
- Proficient in implementing automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
- API Automation using RestAPI
- Agile Project Management
- Experience in Java
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and principles.
