Vahana is a “Low Code Application Development (LCAP)” platform built and perfected by Decimal
Technologies over course of last 8 years. Solutions build on Vahana platform are used by most major banks and NBFC’s in India. Vahana is now ready to go for international expansion and be available for other
system integrator firms to use for fast tracking their application development and enjoy the
benefits.Vahana is proven for scale, security, agility, scalability, auditability for enterprise grade production ready applications. Some of the marquee solutions in Indian banking such as Kotak 811 and AU video
banking are built on top of Vahana platform.
Future of coding is “No Coding” and that is what Vahana brings to enterprise providing them opportunitiesto keep pace with Customer Experience expectations, managing with skill set challenges and digitize at

Designation: Software Engineer - Python
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Python Applications: Write efficient and maintainable Python code, focusing on data analysis, manipulation, and image processing tasks using Pandas, NumPy, and OpenCV.
- Data Manipulation and Analysis: Leverage Pandas and NumPy to clean, analyze, and manipulate large datasets, extracting valuable insights and performing complex transformations.
- Image Processing: Use OpenCV to implement image recognition, image transformation, and processing workflows as part of larger applications.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with data scientists, back-end engineers, and front-end developers to design and deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements.
- Optimize Performance: Ensure your code is optimized for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency, particularly when handling large datasets and image-heavy processes.
- Testing and Debugging: Write and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of your code, using tools like pytest or unittest.
- Documentation: Provide clear documentation for the code, libraries, and methodologies used in data manipulation, image processing, and application design.
- Deploy and Maintain: Deploy Python applications to production environments and provide ongoing maintenance, ensuring that they are stable and bug-free.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python: Strong experience with Python, including familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and OpenCV.
- Data Manipulation & Analysis: Expertise in using Pandas for data manipulation, analysis, and handling large datasets. Comfort with NumPy for numerical computing.
- Image Processing with OpenCV: Proficiency in OpenCV for image recognition, transformation, and processing tasks.
- Web Frameworks: Experience with web frameworks like Fast or Flask for developing scalable and maintainable web applications.
- Database Knowledge: Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- RESTful API Development: Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Testing: Experience in writing unit tests and using tools such as pytest to ensure code reliability.
Preferred Skills:
- Machine Learning: Exposure to machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch for integrating data analysis or image processing into machine learning workflows.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Microservices Architecture: Experience building and maintaining microservices for scalable and flexible applications.
