Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain Java application within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  
• Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
  
• Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
  
• Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
  
• Identify production and non-production application issues
  
• Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects
  
• Provide technical support and consultation for Java application and infrastructure questions Serve as a mentor to less experienced Developers
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  
• 2+ years of software development with Microservices architecture and Spring Boot Java framework
• Solid experience developing web applications on the Java platform (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web Services)
  
• Experience with front-end technologies like Angular
  
• Experience with Micro services
  
• Experience working with SQL Server/Oracle including writing complex join queries and SQL query tuning
  
• Experience in providing technical guidance and inculcating engineering best practices within development teams
  
• Experience with DevOps Tools like Jenkins’s pipeline CI/CD, GitHub, Docker, and Maven
  
• Experience in conducting design and code reviews
  
• Knowledge in DevOps - Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Sonar, Fortify
• Knowledge of multithreading programming, Memory Management
• Sound knowledge and experience of writing junits
  
• Good understanding of Java related frameworks
  
• Solid understanding of software development principles, version control systems (particularly Git and GitHub), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  
• Exposure to complete software product lifecycle encompassing requirements analysis, prototyping, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment
  
• Proficiency in applying object-oriented principles and recommended design patterns to create robust and scalable system designs
  
  • Data Model design and implementation for solutions from high level requirement
• Proven proactive in identifying and escalating potential risks and impediments and coming up with alternative solutions
  
• Proven excellent communication skills
  
• Proven assertive leadership qualities
  
• Proven ownership and accountability for the assigned tasks
  
• Proven excellent team player and collaborator

Preferred Qualifications:

• AI related certifications or worked on AI related project
• Experience with Cloud based technologies such as AKS, Vnets and other cloud related services
  
• Experience working in teams following Agile development methodologies (Iterative, Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
  
• Experience with Linux or UNIX platform
  
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools Splunk, Dynatrace
  
• Python related coding skills
  
• Proven ability to define and drive improvements in the overall quality including automation, code coverage and inspection processes
