Job Description
As an Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Right now our platform is Java, Spring Boot, Sql, Docker, Oracle, Postgres and Snowflake, and we continue to adopt the best of breed in cloud-native, low-latency technologies. Responsibilities
- Write complex, maintainable code to develop scalable, flexible, and user-friendly applications, using Java , Spring boot, SQL & cloud Architecture
- Design and develop highly available, low latency, cloud-native applications
- Mentor team members
- Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of our Analytic applications - conceptualize, design, develop, test and deploy
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of applicable software engineering experience
- Strong fundamentals with experience in back-end object-oriented programming, including proficiency in Java, Springboot
- Strong experience in integrating Restful APIs , microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience in unit testing, code coverage tools – junit, sonar or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in instrumentation to tools like Snyk, Rapid7, DataDog
- Experience in Git hub Actions/Jenkins integration for build, deploy, test coverage scripts
- Experience in any DB – Experience in writing sqls is must
- Have a passion and energy for learning and improving
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business
- Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
