Description
We are seeking a skilled and versatile IT Tooling and Integration Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of IT tools and integrations that support different departments within the organization. Your expertise in monitoring, integration, automation, and cloud technologies will be crucial in enhancing our IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Tool Integration and Management: Design, implement, and manage integrations between various IT tools and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency across departments.
- Scripting and Development: Utilize shell / Python / JavaScript etc to develop scripts and applications that support IT operations, automate processes, and integrate systems.
- Monitoring and Automation: Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of IT systems. Automate routine tasks to enhance productivity and reduce manual intervention.
- Cloud Technologies: Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy, manage, and optimize IT solutions. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based services.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IT departments to understand their tooling needs and provide solutions that align with organizational goals. Offer technical support and training as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integrations, configurations, and processes. Generate reports to provide insights into system performance and usage.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for scripting and development.
- Experience with business automation tools like: Zapier, MS Power Automate, etc
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of IAM principles and practices.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and system administration.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
