About Enterprise Technology at True BeaconEnterprise Technology forms the backbone of the firm’s operations. It involves piecing together systems that unite multiple building blocks of the business, from enabling smart marketing to accurate fund accounting. An engineer in the enterprise technology team is responsible for liaising with key stakeholders across different teams, tinkering with open-source software, and translating archaic ideologies into smart implementations that increase operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack systems that drive core business operations, ensuring high availability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Automate business processes by building workflow management systems and automation tools that improve productivity across teams.
- Explore, integrate, and customize open-source tools to enhance internal systems and improve user experience across different business teams.
- Improve and secure cybersecurity infrastructure by implementing best-in-class security practices to protect enterprise systems against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure business continuity by developing redundant, fault-tolerant systems that handle critical financial and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including investments, operations sales, and compliance teams, to align technology solutions with business needs.
- 1-2 years of experience using and building Frappe/ERPNext applications.
- 1-2 years of professional experience working on full-stack applications.
- Experience working with any web frontend framework, React or Vue.
- Experience using Python for general automation, backend APIs, and transformations.
- Knowledge of SQL concepts, preferably PostgreSQL and MariaDB.
- Comfortable with deploying and managing systems on the cloud.
- Worked on at least 1-2 personal projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, complex, and highly technical team environment.
- Experience with working in an early stage lean team.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience working as a freelancer.
- Experience deploying and maintaining open-source software in the cloud.
