As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud deployments, focusing on security, observability, cost optimization, and efficient deployment strategies. You’ll work with a large-scale infrastructure consisting of 5000+ EC2 instances and 200+ microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
• Maintain and improve existing infrastructure code for AWS and Azure deployments
• Create reusable modules and templates for common infrastructure patterns
• Implement infrastructure testing and validation procedures
• Cloud Infrastructure Management
• Manage large-scale deployments across multiple cloud providers (AWS and Azure)
• Implement and maintain auto-scaling solutions for various services
• Design and implement high-availability configurations
• Optimize resource utilization and infrastructure costs
• Security & Compliance
• Implement security best practices in infrastructure code
• Manage IAM roles, policies, and security groups
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
• Participate in security audits and implement recommendations
• Observability & Monitoring
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure and applications
• Implement logging solutions for large-scale distributed systems
• Create and maintain dashboards for system metrics
• Assist in troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Cost Optimization
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs
• Implement cost allocation tags and reporting
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Regular review and optimization of resource utilization
  
  

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in DevOps or similar role
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java)
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS)
• Basic understanding of Azure services
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/ Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Understanding of networking concepts and security practices

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure management
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Understanding of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments
