ConfirmTkt and AbhiBus became a part of ixigo in 2021. ixigo is headquartered in Gurugram with offices in Bangalore (ConfirmTkt) and Hyderabad (AbhiBus). The ixigo, ConfirmTkt, and AbhiBus apps allow travelers to book train tickets, flight tickets, bus tickets, hotels, cabs, and provide travel utility tools and services developed using in-house proprietary algorithms and crowd-sourced information. We are seeking a Software Developer proficient in .NET, C#, and SQL Server. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to build and maintain scalable software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and support applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core / .NET Framework.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain SQL-based databases and integrate them with backend services (e.g., SQL Server).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end developers, designers, product managers) to deliver high-quality software.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality of the codebase.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing backend systems to enhance performance and reliability.
• Implement and maintain security and data protection measures.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new features and services.
• Participate in sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  
  

Qualifications Required Skills:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in backend development using .NET Core or .NET Framework.
• Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Strong experience with relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL.
• Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of web services and integration methods (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
• Good understanding of unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
