Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Test (SDET) to drive quality across our hardware products. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks that validate both software and firmware functionality, including hardware-in-loop (HIL) testing. You will work closely with development, firmware, and hardware teams to integrate testing throughout the product lifecycle and ensure high-quality releases.
Requirements:
- Test Automation Development: Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks that cover both software functionality and firmware integration.
- Hardware & Firmware Testing: Develop and execute testing strategies for embedded systems, including hardware-in-loop (HIL) setups to simulate real-world conditions.
- Collaboration: Partner with development, firmware, and hardware teams to integrate testing early and continuously throughout the development process.
- Test Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans and strategies, covering unit, integration, system, and regression tests specific to hardware products.
- Defect Identification & Resolution: Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring prompt resolution through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable deployments.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of testing processes, frameworks, and best practices, particularly those involving firmware and HIL testing.
Responsibilities :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++ or equivalent.
- Proven hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern development practices.
- Experience testing embedded systems, including firmware validation and hardware-in-loop (HIL) testing.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
