We are seeking Full Stack Engineer to contribute to work across the frontend and backend to deliver high-quality, user-friendly features. The ideal candidate will have strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, experience with React and Node.js, and an understanding of scalable cloud-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver an exceptional user experience. Work may include or span the following, as per priority:
Frontend Development: Work with frontend developers and contribute to the development of intuitive, responsive user interfaces using React, ReactDnD, and Bootstrap.
Backend Development: Develop robust APIs and services using Node.js with Express, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Database Integration: Work with PostgreSQL for primary data storage and Snowflake for reporting and analytics.
Authentication & Security: Implement secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms using Keycloak.
Caching & Performance Optimisation: Use Redis to optimise data retrieval and system performance.
DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless CI/CD deployments using GitLab CI/CD.
Logging & Monitoring: Implement monitoring and logging using the ELK stack to maintain system reliability.
Scalability & Maintainability: Contribute to microservices-based architectures, ensuring modular, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
Workflow Automation: Integrate and support workflow automation, including potential use of Flowable/BPMN.io or an in-house workflow engine.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, including hands-on expertise with React and Node.js.
Experience with Express for backend development, building RESTful APIs and integrating with databases.
Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including writing efficient queries and optimising performance is a plus
Familiarity with Snowflake for analytical workloads.
Experience working with authentication and authorisation frameworks (Keycloak or similar IAM solutions).
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerised applications.
Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD for automated deployments.
Understanding of Redis caching strategies for performance optimisation.
Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
