Your Role And Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in backend development, middleware technologies, and database management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of designing, developing, and optimizing robust software architectures that support business needs. This role requires technical proficiency in APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions to enhance the organization's technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems and services to support business applications.
• Implement and maintain middleware solutions to enable seamless communication between various software components.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring high performance, data integrity and scalability.
• Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and interfaces to facilitate interoperability between different systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into efficient technical solutions.
• Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between various internal and external applications.
• Contribute to documentation, coding standards, and best practices for backend and middleware development.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and deployment strategies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues across backend systems, databases, and middleware components.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in backend development, middleware integration, and database management.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js for backend development.
• Strong experience with API development, microservices architecture, and RESTful services.
• Expertise in database technologies, including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with middleware platforms and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based services and architectures, particularly IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Tekton.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize backend and middleware components for high performance.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced agile environment.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience in event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth2, JWT, and LDAP.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and best practices for distributed systems.
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests using tools such as JUnit, PyTest, or Mocha.
