Must-Have Skills
- Extensive experience with T-SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (especially for reading data from files and APIs and writing to a database).
- Proficiency in Azure Blob Storage / ADLS.
- Willingness to work in a time zone aligned with Australian business hours.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in BI development, data engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Design and implement Azure BI infrastructure, ensuring high-quality solutions.
- Develop analytical and reporting tools while driving adoption of BI solutions.
- Actively participate in the Blackwoods BI community to foster knowledge sharing.
- Establish and enforce technical standards and documentation.
- Engage in daily scrum meetings to track progress and collaborate with teams.
- Maintain and update assigned DevOps items daily
