SIMULIA CFD QA Engineer

SIMULIA, part of Dassault Systèmes, is looking for an employee with the role of SIMULIA CFD QA Engineer to join our team. The team is responsible for developing and validating Quality Engineering best practices for the world-class CFD technology. This is a high visibility, cross-functional role with tremendous potential for project ownership and career growth in the building of Dassault Systemes’ complex simulation applications.

Role Description & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CFD development and Quality Engineering group across the geos.
• Constructing computational meshes and running CFD simulations using PowerFLOW suite and 3DEXPERIENCE platform application.
• Perform CFD and thermal analysis for mechanical systems
• Review enhancement specifications and provide early feedback on specifications.
• Evaluate product functionality and create test plans
• Execute test plans and incorporate them into the regression suite by defining relevant practical workflows.
• Report bugs and track their corrections.
• Running and analyzing the regression suite on various supported platforms
• Manual GUI testing by creating 3D CFD/Thermal Analysis CAE models from CAD designs.
• Document all tests and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• M.E/M.Tech in Thermal, Heat Power Engineering /Aerospace or Mechanical Thermal Engineering with a 0-1years experience
• Good understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics, thermal engineering
• Skilled practitioners of CFD, with familiarity with ANSYS Fluent and CFX, Hypermesh, ANSA.
• Knowledge of PowerFLOW, XFlow or LBM solver is added advantage.
• Knowledge of Python is added advantage.
• Strong communication and reporting skills in both written and spoken English.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
