Shopify and WordPress Web Developer

Overview

e are seeking a skilled Web Developer with expertise in Shopify and WordPress to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will work closely with our design and marketing teams to build high-quality, fully functional websites that meet our clients' needs. Your role will involve creating custom e-commerce solutions on Shopify and WooCommerce, as well as maintaining and optimizing WordPress sites for performance, security, and SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Build and maintain responsive, functional websites using Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, and Webflow.
• E-commerce Solutions: Design, develop, and optimize Shopify stores and WooCommerce sites for high performance and conversion.
• Theme & Plugin Customization: Customize and develop Shopify themes and WordPress themes, along with installing and configuring essential plugins.
• Website Optimization: Implement SEO best practices and optimize websites for faster loading times, responsiveness, and overall performance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketing, and project managers to create websites that align with the client’s goals and branding.
• Client Communication: Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication regarding project timelines, feedback, and changes.
• Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for live websites, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates.
• Testing & Debugging: Test websites for usability, compatibility, and bugs across different browsers and devices.
• Keep Up with Trends: Stay updated on the latest developments in web technologies, especially Shopify, WordPress, and e-commerce solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in web development, specializing in Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, and Webflow.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Extensive experience with custom Shopify theme development and plugin integrations.
• Hands-on experience with WooCommerce, including product setup, payment gateways, and custom functionality.
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Yoast, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience integrating third-party tools and APIs with Shopify and WordPress websites.
• Knowledge of domain management, SSL certificates, and hosting configurations.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and mobile-first design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Client management experience: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and manage their expectations.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Webflow for web design and development.
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms (BigCommerce, Magento).
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers.
• Experience in API integrations, payment systems (Stripe, PayPal), and shipping solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,955.14 - ₹62,589.52 per month

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
