Senior Web Developer

Overview

Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level (7+ years)

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Development: Design, code, and modify websites from layout to function according to specifications, creating visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
• Feature Implementation: Develop and implement new features and user interfaces from wireframe models or design prototypes.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Quality Assurance: Test the website and identify any technical problems and hitches, ensuring the coding standards are met and addressing any compatibility issues.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, including web designers and project managers, to ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages. Continually learn and apply relevant technologies and best practices in web development.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: Minimum 5years of experience in full-stack web development. Should have strong knowledge in Core PHP, PHP Laravel Framework, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap5.X
• Knowledge in AWS and Docker will be an added advantage
• Framework Experience: Hands-on experience with PHP Laravel and Node.js. Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.

• Database Skills: Knowledge of MySQL and experience with database design and management.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with clients and team members.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Experience with cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.
