Senior Web Developer

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Web Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building and maintaining websites on WordPress, Shopify, and Wix, along with strong backend development skills in PHP and MySQL. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing websites for performance, security, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites on WordPress, Shopify, and Wix.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP and MySQL code for custom website functionalities.
• Implement and manage custom themes, templates, and plugins across different platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems.
• Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to enhance website functionality and aesthetics.
• Ensure website security, data integrity, and backup strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies, trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, and Wix development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in creating and customizing themes, templates, and plugins.
• Familiarity with Shopify Liquid and WordPress Hooks & APIs.
• Knowledge of third-party API integrations (e.g., payment gateways, CRM, marketing tools).
• Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Webflow.
• Basic knowledge of React, Vue.js, or Laravel is a plus.
• Previous experience in eCommerce development and customization.
