Job Description

Senior Test Engineer

[Chennai/Gurugram], India

We’re passionate about using technology to drive sustainable solutions for our clients and society. You too? Join us as a Senior Test Engineer at Ramboll Tech / in the [DPE] Digital Product Engineering Team and help us become the leading Tech-Enabled Partner for Sustainable Change.

Requirements:

• B.Tech/Equivalent degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience as a Quality & Automation Engineer with expertise in API, web applications, and Windows Applications
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Experience with software test frameworks and code coverage tools
• Hands-on experience with frameworks and tools like TestNG, Selenium
• Proficiency in scripting JavaScript and Java for test automation
• Solid understanding of different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Passionate about the quality of work, persistent, and uncompromising
• Experience in Azure DevOps, test plan writing, test case scripting, and test processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and able to contribute in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
• Experience with Agile testing methodology

Qualifications

Technical Skills (Must Have):

• Good coding skills in Java
• Solid skills in framework design and tools like Selenium
• Proficient in Windows application automation using UiPath (RPA) or equivalent tools
• Performance testing tools like JMeter
  
  
  

Good to Have:

• Experience in Engineering tools like Revit, Tekla, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of Cucumber
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server

We digitally enable and co-create with Ramboll’s world-class experts to deliver solutions that drive sustainable change for our clients and society. This includes collaborating with Global Business Areas and Enabling Functions at Ramboll on their digital journey, developing proprietary AI and digital products for Ramboll and our clients, following our product life cycle. Ramboll Tech also works on larger technology projects within Ramboll and provides world-class Technology Operations. Ramboll Tech currently has over 300 employees globally, with strongholds across Nordics, Germany, the USA, and India. We are looking to quickly expand in key areas across Europe and the globe.
