Senior Test Engineer

POSITION Domain Tester ROLE TE/STE REPORTING TO Test Lead POSITION STATEMENT: This role is responsible for implementation of Manual & Automation Test Framework along with skills in relevant domains (Airline). The incumbent is responsible for planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement /release as per the client needs. The incumbent defines the scope of testing within the context of each release /delivery. __________________________________________________________________________ REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 1. 1-5 years of Testing Experience for the relevant domain (Airline) 2. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders ___________________________________________________________________________ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES: 5. Plays a critical/lead role in coordination with BA/Application team for creating test design framework as per RTM 6. Performs SIT & UAT Test Execution, at times oversee the test execution of the Junior TE’s 7. Reports defects & follows up with Developers / BA for defect fixation with defect ageing tracking SLA 8. Provides Test Results walkthrough to stakeholders for Sign off 9. Acts as execution arm covering gap requirements, design needs and cover test data 10. Participates in creating test scenarios, test scripts and test cases as per the testing standards and best practices, adding value in the relevant meetings with the client and developer 11. Ensures regular communication with test lead to minimize slippages in test data 12. Acts as an SME for enabling automatable test scenarios and test cases basis the existing automation framework. 13. Documentation for Project Including Test Planning, Execution, Defect Reporting 14. Ensures knowledge repositories are created, maintained, and utilized by the team 15. Provides inputs to the COP test repositories from project best practices/learnings 16. Coaches the onb
