Senior Technical Support Engineer

Overview

Job Description:

We are expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled Mid-to-Senior Technical Support Engineer (Tier-2/3) to join us remotely within the UTC-3 to UTC-5 time zones. In this role, you will troubleshoot complex technical issues, support customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer science or related field
• 3 to 9 years of experience in the related field

Preferred skills

• Proficient in DNS/network troubleshooting
• Experience in ticket-based support (no phone/chat)
• Knowledge of Linux, BASH, TCP/UDP, DNSSEC, BGP is advantageous
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, including CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions.
• Proficiency in web server technologies such as Apache and Nginx.
• Familiarity with DNS management and domain registration processes.
• Experience with email servers and protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation tasks.
• Need to have experience on Plesk.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot migration-related issues. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data security and integrity.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Linux Professional Institute, Red Hat) are a plus.
