Overview
Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, for multiple teams.
- Coach teams on Agile principles and practices, ensuring alignment with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and our organization's Agile methodology.
- Identify and remove impediments that obstruct the progress of teams, escalating to management as necessary.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is refined, prioritized, and ready for sprint planning.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to experiment, learn, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Develop and maintain metrics to measure team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams, stakeholders, and product owners.
- Ensure that teams are following SAFe principles and practices, including Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Program Increments (PIs), and Iterations.
- Participate in Agile coaching and training activities, providing guidance and support to teams and stakeholders during SAFe rollout in the project. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Agile and SAFe.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a focus on Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Scaled Agile certification, such as SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM).
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Experience working in a scaled Agile environment, with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and remove impediments.
