Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing or launching software products.
• Experience in Service Design and Software Architecture.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

In this role, you will build enterprise platforms that power solutions to various business problems at Google, using an Artificial Intelligence first approach. You will build some platforms from scratch, while others will be licensed from third parties and enhanced. You will create significant benefits by applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to gain insights, improving quality and efficiency in various business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop the understanding of overall business and architecture, set the goals and roadmap for the product such that it scales and delights ensuring engineering excellence and long-term efficiency.
• Guide the team in supporting fullstack development. Set engineering strategy, author goals and strategy documents, make and influence architectural decisions, and read design documents.
• Build tools to run operations and the necessary end-to-end products in this space.
• Ensure engineering alignment with established best practices, enable our services to be easily testable by Test engineers, supported by Site Reliability Engineer (SREs), and easy to operate in the field.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams, operations, client solutions, User Experience Researcher (UXR), Product management, to support solutions in production.
