Position Overview
We invite applications for the role of Senior Software Support and Test Engineer to support enterprise software products, including CRM, ERP, and Project Management solutions.
The selected candidate will play a key role in providing proactive user support and performing software testing to ensure high-quality product performance. Additionally, they will be responsible for serving a Japanese MNC headquartered in Gurugram, Delhi NCR.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s enterprise business process automation software and related mobile applications.
- Provide online and on-premises training and implementation support for end users.
- Offer post-implementation support, analyzing and addressing reported issues.
- Collaborate with the product engineering team to resolve customer support tickets within defined timelines.
- Assist in legacy data migration during software implementation.
- Track and report software bugs, coordinating with the development team for resolution.
- Understand customer feature requests and system modifications, helping translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop system acceptance criteria, functional test plans, and automation-focused testing processes.
- Maintain detailed records of customer issues and resolutions in CRM software.
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and gather feedback for continuous product improvement.
- Provide actionable insights to enhance software performance and usability.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Science / Technology or a Diploma in Software Development / IT.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in enterprise software support, business information system analysis, requirements gathering, or quality assurance/software testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with RDBMS and SQL; ability to write queries for software testing.
- Capability to perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to quickly grasp software functionalities and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
- Strong listening skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Willingness to travel for official assignments when required.
Compensation
- Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with industry experience and qualifications.
- Performance-linked incentives will be offered in addition to the fixed monthly salary.
