Senior Software Tester

Natus Sensory India are a leading manufacturer of medical devices and software for a range of solutions, including eight sensory nervous systems. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes in target markets through innovative screening, diagnostic and treatment solutions. We manufacture and distribute a range of medical device products used in the diagnosis of human disorders of sensory system and neural pathways.

Location: Bangalore (onsite).

In this role, you will:

• Take full ownership as a test lead, overseeing and guiding a complex set of tests, not only covering software, but also other aspects of the medical device.
• Have a full overview of the systems that are being tested and their expected behavior.
• Create and maintain testing documentation (test plans, test cases, defects and verification report etc.)
• Can perform both manual and automated testing - create automating test scripts where needed
• Assemble and configure multi-computer setups for verification of systems and software
• Assist software and hardware developers during implementation of new features.
• Maintain and expand your understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STL) - using industry-standard tools for issue and/or project tracking such as JIRA, JAMA or GitHub, etc.
• Work in an Agile Development environment / Scrum Team.
• Have a quality mindset and develop best practices – including diligence and thoroughness.
• Providing guidance on practices through documentation, training, and discussions.
• Interact with Product Owners to understand product requirements.

Experience and Skills

• Experience working in highly regulated industries, such as Medical Device or Pharma, with a focus on delivering high-quality devices that meet strict regulatory standards.
• +8 years of experience in software testing.
• Lives and wants to work onsite in Bangalore.
• Manual testing experience required; test automation experience in addition preferred.
• Experience installing and configuring Microsoft Windows based systems and applications is a must.
• Experience in working with software testing lifecycle (STL) and ability to demonstrate this knowledge.
• Experience in creating and maintaining testing documentation (test plans, test cases, defect and verification report etc.) is a must.
• Bachelor's degree in science or Engineering field (Computer Science preferred) or minimum 8 years' experience in software testing.
