Senior Software Tester

Overview

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Tester with 4 years of experience in automation, manual testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for web applications. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring software quality and user satisfaction by performing comprehensive testing and facilitating UAT processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for web applications using manual and automation testing tools.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate software functionality and ensure it meets user requirements.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to prepare test plans and strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, system, UAT, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, Client Advocate to understand the scope and deliverables of the project.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tools and ensure their resolution.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for repetitive test scenarios.
• Facilitate UAT sessions with end-users, gather feedback, and communicate results to the development team.
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases and provide feedback for improvement.
• Provide detailed test reports and metrics to ensure transparency of testing progress.
• Stay updated with emerging testing trends and tools to enhance the testing process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of web application architectures and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or similar for automation.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
