Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Lead
Location: Hyderabad, India
Experience: 9-12 years
Positions Available: 6

Role Overview

As an SDET Lead, you will ensure software quality by designing and implementing robust automation frameworks. Your expertise in Playwright (API and web automation) and JMeter (performance testing) will be crucial in enhancing our test strategy and CI/CD pipeline. Collaborating with global teams, you will contribute to the product's quality assurance, participate in code reviews, and drive test automation improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Implement data-driven testing strategies for robust coverage.
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter and Google Lighthouse.
• Participate in product specification and code reviews.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Octopus Deploy.
• Perform functional, security, stress, and failure injection testing.
• Actively participate in story grooming sessions with development teams.
• Own end-to-end testing processes and make go/no-go release decisions.

Required Qualifications

• 9-12 years of software development and testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java.
• Expertise in Playwright (API & UI automation) and JMeter.
• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, ATDD, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Octopus Deploy) and CI/CD integration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SonarQube, NDepend, or Fortify.
• Knowledge of exploratory, usability, and database testing (SQL, RDBMS).

Additional Information

• Must be available to join within 3 weeks.
• Face-to-face interviews required if based in Hyderabad; Zoom for remote candidates.
• Relocation to Hyderabad required if not already in the location.
