Senior Software Engineer (.NET/GraphDB)

Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to guide our development teams through the design, development, and deployment of scalable solutions using .NET, React, and Azure Compute-PaaS. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software architecture and a proven track record in leading projects to successful delivery. The successful candidate will harness .NET Core (preferably .NET 6.0 or later), ReactJS (preferably 16.8 or later), and Microsoft Azure Cloud Services to create solutions that meet the highest standards in terms of performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Building high-quality software applications using .NET, GraphDB (Neo4j, or any leading GraphDB expert), and Azure Compute-PaaS.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET, NOSQL, and Azure services.
• Create a robust data model using GraphDB.
• Develop front-end user interfaces with React, ensuring optimal integration with backend services.
• Oversee the deployment of applications on Azure, utilizing Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and other PaaS components.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in cloud computing.
• Collaborate with project managers and other technical leaders to define system requirements, select technologies, and plan architectures.
• Mentor junior developers, encouraging best practices in code quality and development processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in cloud architecture, advocating for the adoption of new technologies that can improve project outcomes.

Required Skills:

• • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development. Minimum of 2 years of experience with GraphDB.
  • Proficient in .NET technologies, including .NET 6 or above, C#, ASP.NET Web API, GraphDB (Neo4j is a plus), and Entity Framework or other persistence framework.
  • Expertise in front-end development with React, Redux, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices. Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React, Bootstrap, and Material UI.
  • Extensive experience with Azure cloud services, especially Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and monitoring with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
  • Experience with NoSQL graph databases.
  • Understanding of microservices architectures and event-driven design principles.
  • Experience in web applications and services, particularly using Microsoft Azure cloud technologies (e.g., Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Blob Storage, App Insights).
  • Ability to design and implement reusable components and establish coding standards.
