Senior Software Engineer (Laravel & React.js)

Requirements

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance web applications using Laravel and React.js.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and developers, to build and enhance applications.
  
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment.
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring code quality and best practices.
  
• Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
  
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs for seamless front-end and back-end integration.
  
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  
• Contribute to architectural decisions and align development efforts with business goals.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• 5-7 years of experience in PHP development with Laravel and strong expertise in React.js.
  
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with state management (Redux, Context API).
  
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and database design principles.
  
• Proficiency in Git for version control.
  
• Strong knowledge of web security best practices, performance optimization, and SEO principles.
  
• Experience with RESTful API development and third-party integrations.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead a team.
  
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
  

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and DevOps practices.
  
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  

• Leadership role in a collaborative office setting, with the possibility of remote or hybrid arrangements.
  
• May require occasional after-hours support for critical issues.
