Senior Software Engineer – Java (Linux OS)
Location: Bangalore – Whitefield (Hybrid, at least 3 days per week in office)
Experience Range: 6 - 8 years
Notice Period: Immediate
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Java (Linux OS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technology leadership in a fast-paced, agile development environment, working on scalable Java-based microservices deployed in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work in an agile development environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Translate business requirements into low-level application designs.
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement unit testing, TDD, and BDD methodologies to ensure software quality.
- Design, develop, and deploy Java full-stack-based microservices in a containerized cloud environment.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
Mandatory Skills:
- Java, Spring Boot
- Relational and Non-relational Databases (JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, Spring Data)
- Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) with lifecycle management tools like Helm
- Modern SDLC Tools (Maven, Git)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies
