Job Summary
As an engineer on our team, you will work as part of a truly innovative, fun and growing team responsible for developing, testing and debugging our Cloud storage offerings. You will focus on the Customer 1st and foremost in all that you do, whether it is working through the full development cycle from design to Cloud deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex product requirements into leading-edge Kubernetes-based customer solutions using C++, Golang and Python.
- Design and develop data management features in the domain of protocols, data protection, while enhancing scale and performance.
- You'll build quality into your code through unit and integration test development and continuous DevOps pipelines.
- Provide team and project technical leadership, mentor other engineers and participate in technical decisions.
- Work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team and company goals.
Job Requirements
This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, a quick learner and driven to produce results.
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, multi-threading, with good coding skills.
- Proficient with C/C++/Golang. Experience with Python / Java is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of virtualized storage and storage protocols is preferred.
- Experience in building a multi-tenant software on hyper scalars
- Working familiarity performance measurements, tuning of storage systems and knowledge of performance tools is preferred.
- Hands-on Expertise in Container based technologies preferably Kubernetes & Dockers.
- Experienced with Cloud service APIs (e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Ability to participate in and drive technical discussions with your team and other cross-functional teams.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and applying creative ideas to solve problems
- Work independently with minimal guidance from other Senior members in the team
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Be willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute to product and company goals
- Highly knowledgeable in infrastructure like hypervisor, Cloud Storage and experience with cloud services including Databases, Caching, Object and Block Storage, Scaling, Load Balancers, Networking etc.
Education
Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering.
