Senior Software Engineer (C/C++, 5G Core)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Software Development and Maintenance:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance C++ applications for 4G Core networks.
• Optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability in telecom environments.

2. 4G Core Expertise:

• Develop solutions for 4G Core components, including EPC (Evolved Packet Core), PCEF, MME, SGW, PGW, and HSS.
• Implement and troubleshoot protocols like S1AP, GTP, Diameter, and SCTP.

3. System Design and Architecture:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions for 4G Core networks.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and provide technical guidance.

4. Debugging and Troubleshooting:

• Analyze and resolve complex issues related to 4G Core systems and protocols.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality.

5. Documentation and Collaboration:

• Document software design, development processes, and system specifications.
• Work closely with product management and QA teams to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in C++ with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Solid understanding of 4G Core components (EPC, MME, SGW, PGW, and HSS).
• Hands-on experience with 5G protocols such as S1AP, GTP, Diameter, and SCTP.
• Familiarity with multi-threading, real-time systems, and memory management.

Telecom Domain Expertise:

• Knowledge of 4G network architecture, standards, and protocols.
• Experience in implementing or maintaining telecom core network solutions.

Tools and Platforms:

• Experience with Linux/Unix development environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), debugging tools, and build systems.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
