About This Role

Software Development position responsible for design, implementation, and support of Java/JEE based applications to help fulfill our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, test and support JEE based applications and services
• Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements to create technical specifications
• Collaborate on architecture and technical design discussions
• Lead and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve business process issues and identify business process improvement opportunities
• Work on Devops and Cloud technologies
• Mentor team members on processes and best practices
• Learn new technologies & frameworks and utilize them to develop technical solutions
  
  

What You’ll Need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field of software development. 5+ years’ experience in web based application/software development

Must have

• Experience in Java EE/Spring boot, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML
• Experience building scalable data models and performing complex relational database queries using SQL (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL) etc.
• Strong understanding of DevOps tools and practices
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Good problem-solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with other teams

• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
• Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
