Role Purpose:

The main objective of the Senior Software Engineer role is to contribute to Practo's mission of digitizing healthcare by designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, efficient software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software components and applications in line with the company's objectives and goals.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features that meet customer needs.

• Maintain and improve existing software, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Contribute to code reviews and help maintain high standards of code quality.

• Mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and helping to improve team capabilities.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven experience in software development with strong proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team.
