Job Description

We are seeking an ideal candidate with strong problem-solving skills, experience in Perl development, and a proactive approach to managing technical debt while enhancing system reliability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proficient in Perl programming, with experience managing and modernizing web applications.
Strong understanding of web application development and maintenance using Perl, Postgres or any RDBNS, and Python.
Familiarity with infrastructure and services on AWS or similar cloud, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ and caching mechanisms like Redis.
Solid debugging skills, including the use of logs, profiling tools, and runtime analysis.
Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
Proven ability to manage dependencies, update libraries, and maintain secure, compliant systems.
Familiarity with integrating and maintaining heterogeneous systems, such as Python components within a Perl-based application.

Education/Specific Knowledge

Bachelor’s or Above Degree in any discipline
