What your day will look like
- Design, develop and test new and existing web-based applications using modern JavaScript and its frameworks (React and typescript).
- Work collaboratively to define and develop new and existing software features
- Carry out technical analysis and investigation, including evaluating and selecting technical options
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code using modern CSS frameworks
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Working alongside UX designers and testers
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Produce comprehensive suites of automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- Coordinate with and demonstrate work to Product Owners and other stakeholders
What you need to fulfill the role
- Demonstrable experience in front-end software development using React, Typescript, html, JavaScript
- Strong desire to push the boundaries of technology solutions with experimentation and technology ecosystem engagement
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
- Good understanding of best UX / UI practises
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 6+ years of experience developing production quality software
