Job Description: Senior Software Engineer (Java, Springboot, Docker, Kubernetes)
Quest Global, a leading company in the Med Tech and Healthcare industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Technical Lead and Product Owner and Product Manager to understand product requirements & vision
- Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
- Work with product line leaders and architects to develop multi generation software technology plans
- Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
- Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
- Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables
- Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products
- Ensure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results
- Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge
- Apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
- Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
- Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
- Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
- Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness

Work Experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expert in Healthcare interfacing & interoperability tools & standards (HL7 and FHIR)
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in developing scalable and high-performance software applications.
- Working experience in software development in Java, Spring, micro services and database systems (JAVA, REST, DOCKER, Kubernetes, Microservices, database like SQL server, Grafana & Prometheus)
- Experience with SQL database, query and performance optimization and database design is an added advantage
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
