Position- Senior Software Engineer- React.js/ TypeScript

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Engineer to design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces for a SaaS application supporting a growing customer base. As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers and backend engineers in a distributed microservices architecture. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable user interfaces, ensuring they meet business requirements and are performant at scale.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 to 7 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern web technologies for creating dynamic, high-performance web applications.
- Experience in developing responsive web designs and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and consuming them on the frontend.
- Familiarity with modern build tools and version control systems like Webpack, Babel, Git, and npm/yarn.
- Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, React Context, or similar for managing complex UI states.
- Proven ability to write testable, maintainable code and experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing performance and scalability on the front-end.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a distributed team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AWS services like SNS, SQS, or other cloud-based infrastructure services is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with GraphQL or similar query languages.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and a passion for delivering excellent user experiences.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) or microservice architecture is a bonus.
Essential Responsibilities:
- UI Development: Design and develop scalable, performant user interfaces that are intuitive and meet business needs.
- Front-End Architecture: Architect reusable front-end components and workflows using modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably React, TypeScript).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate with REST APIs and third-party services.
- Quality Code: Write high-quality, maintainable code following best practices, and ensure unit and integration tests are in place to guarantee code reliability.
- Responsive Design: Ensure a seamless experience across all devices by optimizing web interfaces for mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Documentation & Design: Document technical designs and processes, sharing knowledge and solutions within the team.
- Peer Reviews: Participate in regular code reviews to maintain high code quality, ensuring adherence to development standards and reducing technical debt.
