Job Role And Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Perl scripting, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Utilize strong knowledge of SQL databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server for data manipulation and retrieval.
- Implement and maintain unit testing frameworks and adhere to test-driven development (TDD) principles.
- Leverage proficiency in data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance and efficiency.
- Apply expertise in OOPs concepts and design patterns to create maintainable and scalable code.
- Work effectively in an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Extensive experience in developing and maintaining Perl applications.
- Strong understanding and application of OOPs concepts.
- Proficiency in working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
- Strong knowledge and practical application.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
- Experience with web development frameworks in Perl (e., Catalyst, Dancer).
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
