Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive performance tests on eCommerce systems to evaluate speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Analyze test results and create detailed reports on system performance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the system.
- Work closely with software developers and leads to optimize system performance.
- Implement performance monitoring tools to detect and troubleshoot system performance issues.
- Provide advice and guidance on system performance to project teams and stakeholders.
- Document performance-related processes, issues, and solutions for future reference.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to system performance.
- Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or similar role.
- Experience in performance testing and benchmarking.
- Knowledge of performance bottlenecks and end-to-end performance measures (server response time, memory capacity, CPU utilization, etc.).
- Knowledge of monitoring and tracing systems like Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
- Experience with performance diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of system capacity planning.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as Gatling, JMeter, or similar.
- Good programming skills in Java, Scala, or other object-oriented languages.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud services ( Azure, AWS etc.).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience with eCommerce services and platforms.
