The Senior Engineer – Cybersecurity & DevOps for HemoCue is responsible for cybersecurity of HemoCue products as well as setting up and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for HemoCue products.

This position is part of the R&D team located in Bangalore and will be on-site. At HemoCue, our vision is to do things easier, to do things better, and to do them right.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Implement Security Measures
• Monitor Security Systems and Conduct Vulnerability Assessments
• Develop and Enforce Security Policies

• Maintain, optimize and monitor infrastructure

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, technologies, regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Experience in designing and implementing DevOps strategies and architectures; strong expertise in AWS, and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or equivalent.
