Senior Software Engineer - Core Java, Java Swing, Linux

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Software development with strong knowledge in Front end and Backend Technologies: Angular and Core Java
• Proficient in Angular, Core Java, Java Swing
• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills on Angular, Core Java, Java Swing
• Should be proactive and have the intellect to explore and come up with solution to complex technical issues
• Formulate designs from the Requirements
• Static Analysis/ Dynamic analysis/ Memory Profiling
• Configuration Mgmt. (perforce/ git)
• Unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks

Required Skills

• Expertise in software development with strong knowledge in Programming languages and technologies (Angular and Core Java)
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, familiarity with functional programming concepts
• Strong knowledge in Requirement analysis, Design and Implementation in Angular and Core Java
• Frameworks and API paradigm such as REST, CORBA
• Good Understanding of Repositories, preferably Git
• Unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities
• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills on Angular and Core Java
• Should be proactive and have the intellect to explore and come up with solution to complex technical issues
• Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, Bug fixes and enhancement activities
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
• Expertise in Scripting: Linux Shell scripting and Bash
• Technical communication with internal and external stake holders will be part of job
• Exposure to Agile

Desired Skills:

• Java Swing
• Ability to explore large code base and understand Architecture and Design
• Ability to deliver without much supervision from lead/managers
• Preferred understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD
• Prior experience on complex Legacy Systems
• Experience in developing software applications for Medical Devices domain CT, XR, MR, Common Platform
• Knowledge in Health Care Standards & regulations like DICOM, IHE, HIPPA
• Familiar with tools like WinScp, Putty, ClearQuest, Collaborator, SVN, ALM, JDICOM/DVT/DCMTK
• Ability to explore large code base and understand architecture and design
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
