With this position we offer
Join the development organisation for Nasdaq Boardvantage. The main objective for the development team in Bangalore is to build state of the art governance software for Boards and Leadership teams. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for delivery of enhancements and supporting re-architecture of the enterprise product to new software paradigms.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior Software Mobile Developer, your focus will be developing and building mobile apps(Android). Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
- Be willing to work full stack - Backend and iOS technologies as the requirement arises.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimisation.
- Collaborate with the iOS and backend team members to ensure seamless integration across platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest Android, iOS, and backend trends and technologies to ensure cutting-edge development.
We expect you to have
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Android development using Kotlin and Java.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with Android Studio, Gradle.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic understanding of iOS development, including Swift/Objective-C.
- Familiarity with iOS user interface guidelines and app lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Java backend technologies and working knowledge of RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, and other architectural patterns.
- Strong understanding of Object oriented concepts, multi-threaded application development, iOS internals
- Worked on encryption and offline content storage.
- Bachelor/Master in computer science
It would be great if you have
- Knowledge on React Native
- Experience with cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Proficiency with JSON and web server
- HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS
