Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester with experience in both web and mobile application testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards across our web and mobile platforms. This role will involve test planning, execution, bug reporting, and collaboration with developers to identify, fix, and track issues, ensuring that our products meet functional, usability, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing for both web and mobile applications to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
• Test Planning: Design and develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify, record, and track software defects in a bug-tracking system (e.g., JIRA), working closely with development teams to resolve them.
• Cross-Platform Testing: Test across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android) to ensure consistent functionality and user experience.
• Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure new features or updates don't negatively affect existing functionalities.
• Performance Testing: Identify and test performance-related issues such as load times, responsiveness, and app stability across various devices and environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Automation: Implement and maintain automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Appium, or other testing frameworks.
• Usability & User Experience Testing: Evaluate user interfaces for ease of use, intuitiveness, and overall user experience.
• Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, cases, results, and reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements and contribute to best practices for quality assurance within the team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on QA testing experience in both web and mobile applications.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of web browsers, mobile platforms (iOS/Android), and testing frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Appium, etc.).
• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• Test Types: Experience in functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify issues in complex systems with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration with teams.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with mobile testing tools and frameworks (e.g., XCUITest, Espresso).
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
• Knowledge of APIs and web services testing (REST, SOAP).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
