About the Role:

Location: Pune (WeWork, Raheja Woods, 8, Central Ave, Kalyani Nagar, Pune)

Timings: Dayshift

Notice Period: Immediate joiner

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and quality assurance, with a focus on API testing (Rest Assured) and automation.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript.
• Experience in manually testing REST APIs and writing automated test cases.
• Proven experience in gathering API requirements and creating detailed test cases.
• Good experience in Frameworks - Jest/Mocha, Cypress/Playwright
• Good knowledge on Performance testing.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-driven, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and manually test APIs, ensuring comprehensive coverage for GET, PUT, POST, and DELETE functions.

Preferred/Nice to Haves:

• Experience with GraphQL (highly desirable but not mandatory).
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Write and automate test cases for APIs using TypeScript, Jest, and SuperAgent.
• Collaborate closely with developers to identify, create, and prioritize test cases for automation.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, specifically utilizing GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues related to automated test scripts.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on code quality and testability.
• Develop, maintain, and manage test plans, test cases, andtest data for robust API testing.
• Communicate test results and project progress clearly to the team and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate testing deliverables effectively.
• Continuously enhance the test automation framework and processes to increase efficiency and reliability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?1,300,000.00 - ?2,300,000.00 per year
