Job Overview:

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web-based applications by leading both manual and automation testing efforts. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test cases, tracking defects, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver defect-free, high-performance software solutions. You will adhere to organizational quality standards and SDLC processes to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution:
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web-based applications.
• Perform unit, regression, integration, and surface testing.
• Ensure test execution aligns with the defined test plan and organizational standards.
• Defect Management:
• Identify, log, analyze, and prioritize defects using standard defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve defects and technical issues.
• Quality Assurance:
• Adhere to quality management standards and organizational SDLC processes without deviations.
• Deliver high-quality solutions within the stipulated time frame.
• Automation Testing:
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium.
• Ensure efficient and repeatable test execution for automation tasks.
• Support and Analysis:
• Provide third-level support for business user tickets, troubleshooting issues as required.
• Analyze and resolve technical and application-related problems.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand functional and technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the product meets performance and usability expectations.

Required Skills:Primary Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Proficient in test case preparation and execution (unit, regression, integration, and surface testing).
• Strong knowledge of Java, Selenium, and defect tracking/reporting.
• Expertise in logging, analysis, and prioritization of defects.
• Hands-on experience in test execution as per the test plan.

Secondary Skills:

• Proficiency in automated test script creation and execution.
• Knowledge of build and release processes.
• Experience in configuration management and version control.
• Familiarity with defect management tools and QC templates compliance.

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience testing ERP products is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and SDLC.
• Ability to learn new products and business processes quickly.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time.
• Experience working in the shipping domain is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?900,000.00 per year
