Senior QA Engineer

This position is for our client office in Hyderabad and you are expected to work out of the same location only.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct manual functional testing for e-commerce applications, primarily on Adobe Magento.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand testing requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Utilize JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Prepare and present test reports, status updates, and defect summaries to stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and track defects while working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers in the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product managers.
• Ensure compliance with testing best practices and industry standards.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate with business users for test execution.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manual functional testing .
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Magento e-commerce testing .
• Strong proficiency in JIRA for defect tracking and test management.
• Excellent client interaction and communication skills.
• Experience in test planning, execution, and reporting .
• Understanding of e-commerce workflows, payment gateways, and integrations .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments .

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) .
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks (a plus but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies .
• ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.
