Overview
As a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at our startup, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products to our customers. In addition to technical expertise, you will need excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage people effectively.

- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for our backend, frontend, and Android applications.
- Conduct thorough testing and identify bugs, defects, and performance issues in our software products.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and project requirements.
- Prioritize and manage multiple testing tasks efficiently, while ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of software releases.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for any reported bugs and work towards avoiding similar issues in future releases.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior QA team members, mentor them, and assist in their professional development.
- Continuously explore and implement industry best practices, tools, and techniques to improve the overall QA process.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to enhance the software development lifecycle and promote a quality-first mindset.
- Document and communicate test results, progress, and any potential risks or issues to stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 - 4 years of experience in QA/testing roles, preferably in a software development environment.
- Strong proficiency in testing backend, frontend, and Android applications.
- In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Proven experience in designing and writing test cases that cover functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Ability to understand user needs, prioritize tasks, and manage resources effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of software development processes and the ability to work closely with developers to ensure high-quality releases.
- Experience with bug-tracking systems and test management tools.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing methodologies.
